Celebrity actor Gibson Gathu from Vioja episode has appealed to good Samaritans to help him raise Ksh6 million for kidney treatment.
Gathu who played the role of prosecutor during the Vioja Court show has been battling diabetes for more than two decades.
His family said his treatment had caused them financial problems and that they needed help to raise money to pay for surgery on July 22, 2022.
Gibson has been battling diabetes for more than 20 years. In November 2020 his kidneys failed to function and he has been receiving dialysis treatment twice a week. This has led to financial hardship in the family, “an announcement received on Kenya Gossip read.
The actor’s family have said they have already found someone to donate one kidney. Adding that the money they are asking for includes the cost of surgery and subsequent treatment.
