A 21-year-old Kiambu woman was arrested on Saturday after being found in possession of 810 cannabis rolls.
Police arrested Rosemary Waithera Ngige, with the drugs after an operation led by officers from the Kibichoi police station in Kiambu County.
The raid on the suspect’s home took place in the village of Thuita in the Komotai area.
The National Police Service said the operation followed a report from a close neighbor who snitched Waithera who was about to make a killing out of the cannabis.
“The culprit was arrested and a load of 810 rolls of cannabis was found she has since been detained by police awaiting her day in court, “statement read.
Indulgence in drug and drug abuse has brought grief to the family as many victims become more addicted and dependent all their livelihood.
The vice president also exposed victims of health concerns related to the spread of infectious diseases.
“We thank the public for their continued co-operation in our valued community policing programs where this and many other important exercises have been successful,” the NPS said.
National Police Service further reiterated its commitment to ensure that the community gets rid of these drugs which have caused damage to many people in the country.
