Kibaki Fake Grandson’s family Talks, Pleads with the Government to Release him.

Makana hit the headlines for the first time on April 27, 2022, after a riot in Parliament House, where he had gone to view the body of a former president Mwai Kibaki.

The second time was on April 29, during the Kibaki Mass at Nyayo National Stadium, when Makana took to the stage and asked Archbishop Anthony Muheria to give him a chance to speak but was chased away by the guards.

concephter Makana told reporters that her son was born and raised in Kabusosi village, Kanduyi, Bungoma County.

She said she was informed about her son’s behaviors by neighbors because she did not have a television and her efforts to reach him on the phone were fruitless.

makana, who is a mid-son in a family of eight children, took his KCSE exam in 2015 and earned a C +.

She said her son left home in 2016 after completing his high school education in 2015 at Sikusi boys’ high school, he told her he was going to look for a job, Concephter told reporters at her home.

“Mwanangu aliondoka nyumbani mwaka wa 2016 baada ya kumaliza elimu yake ya sekondari mwaka wa 2015 katika shule ya upili ya Sikusi boys, aliniambia kuwa anaenda kutafuta kazi,”

The mother of eight children denied allegations that her son was Kibaki’s grandson, saying he was mourning the leader for setting up a free education in the country in which he benefited.

She said Makana referred to Kibaki as his grandfather as a sign of respect.

concepheter revealed that she has been raising her children alone since 2010 when her husband passed away, and the last time she saw Makana was in 2018.

She said at the time he visited her with a group of friends from Pome Africa productions, an organization that plays high school textbooks.

The mother said her son may have done so to attract the attention of Kenyans and to get the help of good Samaritans because he had been suffering in Nairobi for years without a job.

The Makana family is asking the government to release him.

Speaking to reporters, one of Makana’s uncles, Charles Ndumba, said they were shocked by the news that their relative was making a public statement at Kibaki’s funeral saying he was not a man of the character.

“The uncle added the behavior stems from the group he walks with The behavior he gives in Nairobi but while home he was not a bad character. he told TV47.

“Niliona ni hiyo chance ndio naweza lia labda ndio naweza pata usaidizi,”

The family asked the government to release Makana, who was arrested last week, calling on good Samaritans to help him continue his favorite profession.

“I humbly take this opportunity to ask the government to forgive our son and release him from custody,” Ndumba told the Star newspaper.
