
Entrepreneurship culture is one of the things being encouraged the current economic strategies by most countries. There are many young Kenyans who came from humble lifestyle and arid areas where production is low and rose to greatness through business. One of these days successful ladies include the 29-year old Nelly Cheboi who was raised up in Mogotio, Baringo County.
She is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of her own company called Techlit Africa. Through her company, Cheboi recycles technology products from United States of America to build computer laboratories in Kenya and other African countries. She is was ranked by Forbes as among under 30 years entrepreneur millionaires in the world.
According to a post shared by Kenyans.co.ke on twitter today, she revealed that her company have about 10 computer laboratories where students pay Ksh 1167 per month and they have about 4000 students and 20 teachers. This implies that she gets around Ksh 4.6 million per month.
Nelly disclosed that the desire to root out poverty in her village pushed her to set up the business. She is currently helping the society through the program to access education. She plans to set up 1000 laboratories across various countries in the globe
