This comes the last madaraka day for president Uhuru Kenyatta and his team to be in office, however, Kenyans were expecting DP Ruto to speak as it is normally done in other national events that the second in command invites the first in command, this time President Uhuru invited his fellow head of state from Sierra Leone and afterwards engage in giving his speech.
According to the video clip seen by the writer online, Kenyans were seen walking away as he started his speech as it has been alleged it’s because people went to Uhuru Gardens to listen to.the second in command and when it was not the case then they started leaving without listening to what the first in command had to say. At the same time DP Ruto’s allies have called out the act by the program that has excluded the second in command William Ruto from talking to kenyans today.
Meanwhile, it was reported by Aide that the second in command didn’t receive an invitation from statehouse to attend today’s madaraka day at Uhuru gardens. Gatundu south member of parliament Moses Kuria has however reacted to the deed saying that DP Ruto wasn’t supposed to speak in the event from his facebook account.
