Confirm gang has been wrecking havoc in major parts of Nakuru City and county at large with the National Police Service officers doing the best they can to ensure that the culprits are caught and brought to book.

Several members of the public have been linked to the gang with links to funding it and sponsoring its criminal related activities in the area as per the reports.

A few days ago, the National Police Service was able to arrest 27 members of the gang after four women were raped and killed in the span of about four days.

This morning, according to reliable reports the Nakuru East Member of Parliament was taken in by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations over links to the dreaded gang.

The Nakuru East Member of Parliament, David Gikaria, who won the seat on a Jubilee Party Ticket, is said to have been grilled by the detectives over links to the gang.

Rift Valley Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss , Mwenda Meme, confirmed the incident saying the legislator was taken into questioning earlier on this morning by the authorities.

A statement is yet to be issued by the authorities on the same.
