Ann Charles has been through domestic violence .She has gone through hell in her marriage. Her husband wanted her dead Inorder to take their 3 children. Ann became sick and preferred to go to a public hospital but her husband hired a doctor who prescribed medication for a stage four cancer patients.

Ann was born and raised in Nakuru.After completing her studies she met a man who was from Nakuru.They became friends and later got married .although the man later Confessed to have used witchcraft to confuse her to move I with him.

They were blessed with three children. She stated that her marriage was not good but she endured all that praying that one day her marriage will be better. She went through physical, emotional and even spiritual torture. Her husband would have affairs with other women.

He could beat her up to an extent of kicking her out of the house without clothes. She could experience strange dreams and sometimes someone would try to strangle her at night.Rose is a prayerful woman and that is where she gained her strength.

Since she is a musician she one day organized launching of her songs.A week before the day,she became sick,her legs and hands were weak and she was in great pain.She requested her husband to take her to a public hospital .

Due to the pain she lost her consciousness while in casualty room.She woke up in Murumba hospital which is a private hospital. The doctor went to examine her but he used to tell her all the results are showing that she is not sick.She was given medicine but they were not helping her.

Her husband had bribed the soldier at the hospital gate not to allow visitors to see her.Since she was not improving her mother suggested her to go to Nakuru to take her to hospital. When the doctors saw her they were shocked.

Her body had cracked and was loosing blood.When they saw the prescription, they told them those were drugs given to cancer patients who are in their last stage .After the test it was confirmed that it was a spinal dislocation which needed only therapy.

She went through 4 sessions of therapy and recovered. She went to live alone after she understood her husband was an evil man who wanted to kill her.She has advised women to quit toxic marriages whenever they see red flags.
