“Two Brothers To Be Removed From The Grave,” Twist in Kianjokoma Murder as Six Police Demand This

Benson Njiru Ndwiga, 22, and Emmanuel Mutura Ndwiga,19, met their death on 1st August last year while they were at Kianjokoma Trading Centre heading home with their friends.

The case involved six police officers who were charged with the murder. The six suspects were Benson Mbuthia, Consolata Njeri, Martin Wanyama, Nicholas Sang, Lillian Cherono and James Mwaniki all from Manyata Police Station who were arrested following the killing of two brothers in Kianjokoma, Embu County now want the case against them stopped.

The prosecution’s case is that the officers jointly murdered the two brothers at Kianjokoma Trading Centre when they were heading home with their friends on the night of August 1 at around 10:30pm. The two brothers died in their hands while the officers were enforcing the night curfew.

However, the six police officers have presented a case at Milimani Law Court where that want the case against them stopped as they claim that the two brothers, Benson and Emmanuel, killed themselves after jumping from a moving police Land Cruiser. The six officers now want their case to be stopped as keen and more investigations are carried out.

The police officers have also demanded for their release and the bodies of the two brothers to be removed from the grave to enable more investigation on the exact cause of their death. The six officers demand their release as they claim they are very innocent from the murder of the brothers.

However, the six officers through their lawyer Omari Dancan have presented a case at Milimani Law Court to demand for their release as he alleged the six were innocent.

Omari defended the six officers claiming that they were innocent and that the two brothers met their death after jumping from a moving police land cruiser while it was raining as they were trying to escape. Lawyer Dancan also stated that there were other witnesses who observed the incident who he’ll use to prove the innocence of the six police officers.
