Minister Matiang’i announced this in a notice in the official gazette on Friday, eid al-Adha is the second and largest festival among the two major festivals celebrated in Islam.
This day is a show of respect for Ibrahim as he prepares to slaughter his son Ismail as an act of obedience to the command of Allah.
