The case will be heard from July 17 to 21, and July 24 to 28, She asked all parties to cooperate with the court so that the case can be decided.

The office of the Director of Public Prosecutions committed to ensure that they have witnesses in court on the days that have been set aside.

The last time the case was in court, the case was unsuccessful following the complaint of the defense attorneys not to be given proof of evidence relied on by the witness from the NTSA Authority.

The witness had already given that position but was stopped after lawyers Kioko Kilukumi and Rodgers Sagana said they were not given the document and it also failed to meet the requirements of the Evidence Act.

Baraqo Baji, who is the 25th witness for the prosecution, was referring to a document detailing the registration of the car believed to be used during the abduction of the late Sharon Otieno. The car is a Toyota Fielder KCL 481K. He was in court last July.

The witness at that time worked under the NTSA Registration Department. He told Githua that they had received a letter of request from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation regarding the vehicle and another KCF 519F. Dci wanted to know the current and previous owners of the car and any other relevant information.

From the NTSA record, the KCL car was imported into the country by Saidi Kalu.

It originated in Japan and was registered on April 28, 2017. On August 13, 2018, the car was transferred to Adhiambo Oloo Olivia.

The vehicle’s registration details remain under his name until now. the defense objected to the documents citing certification issues. Obado, his personal assistants Micheal Oyamo and Caspal Obiero are in court facing the murder case of Sharon and her unborn child.

The three and others who were not brought to court are accused of committing the crime on September 3, 2018 in Owade, Homa Bay county. Sharon was found lying in a pool of blood in Owade bush, Homa Bay county.

DNA results confirmed that the unborn son was Obado’s. It was a 28-week fetus when it met its death.
