Brenda Otieno, the video vixen in Bahati’s song ‘Adhiambo’ is demanding that the singer pay her for appearing in the video.
She used her TikTok account to talk about the singer for allegedly reneging on his promise to pay the video vixen of the video.
Brenda Otieno took to her TikTok platform on Wednesday to express her frustration, saying that she has been waiting for over a year to receive payment from Bahati for appearing in his music video.
“I’m tired of being silent someone tell Bahati that I’ve given him 24 hours to pay me, if he doesn’t pay me for being a video vixen in Adhiambo’s song, I’m going to sue him because there’s a law, he’s taking advantage because I’m a woman, the video has 22m views.
He has never paid me till now. if he does not contact me within 24 hours and tell me when he will make the payment, then I will involve my lawyer in this. I will not resign this time,” Brenda said.
According to Brenda, this was not the first time she came forward to demand payment for the work she did on the video.
She says she was silenced the first time she spoke but this time she is ready to take legal action against Bahati if she is not paid within 24 hours.
Bahati has now talked about it and seems to be unaware of the whole controversy. although he did not indicate whether he will pay her or what the matter is about, the musician wrote on his Instagram;
“What has this song done??? So Many Tags🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ #ADHIAMBO WATCH AND COUNT 22 MILLION YOUTUBE VIEWS!!!”
The famous song was released a year ago and featured Jaguar and Babu Owino who made a special appearance as well.
