One of the three managers handling Diamond Platnumz’s business Babu Tale has revealed the only way for the singer to cancel paternship with him from Wasafi Record Label.
Speaking to a popular radio program in Tanzania, the manager revealed that he will never leave the music label.
He hinted that they were struggling together before they found success and he would never let that slide easily.
However, he claimed that in their work they have been harassed by fans and now they are reaping the fruits of their hard work.
He also pointed out that they cannot separate due to the state of their relationship and ending his business with the label would be a disaster.
He vowed he was ready to lose a leg in the pursuit of keeping his job clean.
“Siku yenye msanii Diamond ataniambia hanitaki wasafi atanikata mguu,siwezi toka Wasafi” tale pointed out.
Last week in an interview, he explained why the artist Diamond gives five to 10 year contracts to new artists.
in an interview with Millard Ayo, Tale revealed that the new artists who have been signed to WCB Wasafi label since its launch, were all not given a contract exceeding 10 years, and explained why.
First, Tale began talking about why Platnumz has taken so long to sign artists to replace those who left including Rich Mavoko, Harmonize and Rayvanny.
“Kumpa msanii mkataba ni hatua. Diamond anachunguza vitu vingi sana.
Kuondoka kwa wasanii kulitupatia hofu zile za kuangalia huyu, aah huyu… tulikuwa tunasaini haraka unajua lakini tuliingia hofu.. huyu… ile hipo ile kama binadamu,” Tale Said.
