An uproar was witnessed in a court in Zambia in the capital city of Lusaka after a woman went to court asking for permission to find a man who can satisfy her romantic needs, a ‘side boyfriend’ in what she described her husband’s bedroom prowess as below average.
According to a statement published on the Zambian Portal through a video, Phinet Nkhoma, was seen wearing a white wedding dress and sitting next to her husband-to-be at the matrimonial court.
Who found her there was her mother, Alice Nkhoma at the office of the Registrar of Marriages.
The mother said she got information from her neighbors, that her daughter has left her matrimonial home, saying her husband was not satisfying her romantically.
At the same time, the woman’s husband Micah Tembo disclosed to the marriage registrar that his wife left their matrimonial home on Friday June 9, 2023 claiming that she was going to a friend for a party and she would continue with work.
Tembo continued telling the marriage registrar in a telephone interview that he and his wife PHNET had a 4-year-old child that she left at home.
The Council’s Marriage Registrar, Kenneth Kandandu, has since considered the marriage Invalid because the woman cannot find another husband if the marriage with the first husband still exists.
