Davido in tears responding to Burna Boy’s fan who wished him death.

Nigerian star, David responded to some fans of his colleague, Burna Boy, who seemed to wish him death and insulted his late mother, Veronica Adeleke.

It was previously reported that Burna Boy faced heavy criticism following the sudden cancellation of his highly anticipated ‘Love Damini’ concert at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Netherlands.

It was gathered that thousands of fans had flocked to the 41,000 capacity arena on Saturday night, eagerly awaiting Burna Boy’s unforgettable show, only to receive the disappointing news a few hours later that the show had been cancelled.

Fans flooded Twitter insulting Burna Boy and worst of all, many seemed to drag Davido in their remarks, saying unpleasant words to him.

Via social media page, Twitter user @Winco_3 shared a video of a large crowd waiting for Burna Boy in the Netherlands and wrote:

“Even Davido’s funeral which would be free cannot fill this crowd, know your mate.”

Responding to those comments through his Twitter page, Davido couldn’t stop himself from expressing his disappointment, questioning the reasons for the statement.

He wrote, “So you want me to die? Reason being? What have I personally done wrong to you that you wish death on me? Anyways I’m not going anywhere! I will live life to the fullest.”

Davido also responded to another fan of Burna Boy who attacked the late mother. He wrote:

“It is very sad how civilization has changed too, inside and outside. My mother Wey died more than 20 years ago, what is she herself mentioned in this matter?”

Despite being advised to stop engaging his critics, Davido made it clear that he has no intention of refraining from responding to the attacks directed at him.

“If nobody wants to talk, I’ll talk… you guys are going to hurt the wrong person one day! not everyone is strong and can take it for years like i have done! Me no send but one day these people will hurt the wrong person” Davido wrote.

The new hatred from some fans is believed to be due to a statement made recently by Davido who described Burna Boy as the “new cat” in Nigerian music industry.
