Kenyan footballer, Victor Mugubi Wanyama is tired of Kenyans linking him with singer Kelvin Bahati’s adopted son, Morgan Bahati.
For a long time, Kenyans on social media have been likening the CF Montreal player to Bahati’s child and raising many unanswered questions.
On Sunday, the 32-year-old midfielder finally broke his silence on the issue which he described as ‘stupid’ and asked Kenyans to stop associating him with the 13-year-old boy.
”This foolishness needs to stop now!!” Wanyama wrote.
The footballer expressed his anger on Twitter after a man posted a photo of him next to Morgan in a photo of the Bahati family.
On the other hand, Bahati’s wife, Diana Marua celebrated her adoptive son and assured him that she loves him very much.
The mother of three shared a photo of herself with Morgan and took the opportunity to brag about her growth.
“The one who called me MUMMY first. My baby @morgan_bahati is all grown. Mummy and son goal. I love you Morgan,” Diana Marua wrote.
Earlier this year, Diana said she has seen a lot of progress and changes in Morgan and wished him God’s guidance in life.
“I have seen you change into the gentleman you are today and the only thing I can say is that God continue to protect you and guide me and your father to always be able to raise you so that you can be the best version of yourself,” she said in January.
