Gospel artist Ringtone Apoko has revealed the reason for standing with Diana Marua after she was trolled on social media due to the dress she wore a few weeks back when taking a photo with her youngest son, Morgan Bahati.
Speaking to Mungai Eve, Ringtone said that what made him stand with Diana was because he felt it was wrong for people to drag an innocent child into their fight, by claiming he resembles footballer Victor Wanyama.
The second thing that made Ringtone defend Diana Marua is because of his love for her.
Ringtone committed blasphemy by saying if Bahati was to die, the first person Diana will run to is none other than him, asking Kenyans to stop taking their showbiz seriously and thinking they are enemies.
Ringtone said.
The artist said that what fans think is hatred is just criticizing each other in some positive way to things that are not done in the right way.
“Tunakosoana vile nimeongelea Bahati anavuta Bang, sio ati nimemchukia nataka watoto vijana wa understand wale wasanii wanakuja wa understand kuna vitu hatuezi fanya, sisi ni kioo ya jamii”
Ringtone criticized those trying to bring Morgan into their fight with Diana, associating the baby as the result of Marua and Wanyama’s previous relationship.
