Wycliff Orandi, an anchor at Citizen TV, has opened up about how he found his wife Sheila Achieng.
In an exclusive interview with Citizen Digital, Orandi surprised many when he revealed that he met his lover at work.
The Anchor said that his current wife was working as an HR at the time and that’s when they met and later asked her to be his girlfriend.
Orandi claimed he is not a person who is afraid to talk to people from the HR department who are often feared by employees because they are the ones who manage the hiring and firing department.
”We met here at work, she was working as HR and we knew each other… I don’t understand why people are afraid of HR, I don’t believe that. If you are a good person and people love you, I don’t think there is any need to fear HR,” Orandi said.
He doesn’t think there is anything wrong with dating a co-worker as long as your love doesn’t affect your work performance.
“I don’t think there is anything wrong with people dating while working together, as long as it doesn’t affect your work, everyone should stay in their unit and meet after work. If you are mature people, you will understand each other, you sit down and have a discussion” he said.
Orandi is not the only person in marriage with a colleague in Royal Media Services. (RMS)
