THE Ministry of Defense has announced that the process of registration of recruits to join various forces of the National Defense Force (KDF) has been completed.
In a statement to the media, September 8, 2023, the Deputy Chief of Defense Forces (VCDF) Lieutenant General J M Mwangi announced that the exercise that started on August 28, 2023, ended on Friday, September 8, 2023.
“This activity was conducted in 374 centers in all 47 counties in the country. We registered the qualified cadets for the category of cadet officers, that of cadet officers with degrees and that of regular military officers,” he said.
“I thank all the young people who showed up for the activity and succeeded now will have the opportunity to serve their country in the KDF. On the other hand, I congratulate those who showed up and failed because they showed the spirit to serve,” Lt. Gen. Mwangi added.
The official said that the names of those who successfully registered for various categories in the KDF will be published on their official website of the Ministry of Defense and in the media between September 17 and September 24.
DCDF Mwangi mentioned that the activity of registration of the KDF was successful to a large extent due to contributions and support from organizations such as the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), various security units, the media and the general public.
“We recognize your contribution in monitoring and monitoring the exercise and thus preventing cases of fraud or corruption. Your contribution has definitely maintained the status of the activity,” he explained.
