The National Electricity Distribution Company (KPLC) has once again announced a power outage scheduled for Thursday, September 14.
Several areas in about ten counties of Kenya will be without electricity between 9 in the morning and 5 in the evening.
The counties that will be affected include Nairobi, Kiambu, Uasin Gishu, Trans Nzoia, Nyeri, Meru Muranga, Kirinyaga, Mombasa and Kilifi.
Areas that will be affected in Nairobi county include part of Riverside Drive, Joska, Thomena part of Mpaka Road. Trains in those areas are scheduled to be unavailable between 9 in the morning and 5 in the evening.
In Kiambu county, areas that will be without electricity between 9 in the morning and 5 in the evening include parts of Kabete, Kingeero, Wangige, Karagi Estate, Kahuguini and Corner Brook.
Motosiet and Kachibora areas in Trans Nzoia county will face a lack of electricity between 9 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.
The areas of Jabali and Karara Farm in Uasin Gishu county will also lack electricity between 9 am and 4 pm. In Nyeri county, the areas that will be affected include Witima and Kagumo where there will be no steam between 9 in the morning and 4 in the evening.
In Mombasa county, some parts of the Port Reitz area will be without electricity between 9 in the morning and 5 in the evening. Kilifi, part of the Gotani area will be affected between 3 in the morning and 4 in the evening.
Laare and Mutuati areas in Meru county will also be affected between 3 am and 4 pm.
