Musician Nadia Mukami is in the United States to celebrate her AFRIMMA award.
She traveled abroad to attend the AFRIMMA 2023 awards where she won the category of Best Female Artist in East Africa, defeating fellow artists such as Zuchu from Tanzania among others.
She was nominated for the award along with other artists such as Zuchu and Maua Sama from Tanzania.
Nadia wrote a message on her pages enjoying her victory.

With this victory, Nadia has announced a major party to mark her success will be held. The ceremony will be on Saturday, September 23.
“Come, let’s have a good time, we’ll dance” she promised Kenyan fans in the US about the 2023 African Muzik Magazine Award party.
Nadia is also performing in several concerts. She is also expected to enter next month with other nominees after being nominated in this year’s TRACE Continental awards to be held in Kigali, Rwanda in October.
