The National Electricity Distribution Company (KPLC) has once again announced a power outage scheduled for Thursday, September 28.
Several areas in about nine counties of Kenya will be without electricity between 9:00 in the morning and 5:00 in the evening.
The counties that will be affected include Nairobi, Kiambu, Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, Kilifi, Trans Nzoia, West Pokot, Migori, Embu and Isiolo.
In Nairobi county, areas that will be without power between 9 am and 5 pm include Muthaiga, Saika, Umoja, Kangundo Road section, Wilson Airport and part of Lang’ata Road.
Kokotoni and Jimba areas in Kilifi county will also be affected by the lack of electricity between 9 in the morning and 5 in the evening.
In Kisumu county, part of the Construction Quarry area will be without electricity between 9 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Karamu and Mabera areas in Migori county will be affected by power outage.
The areas of Red Hill Villas, Kigwa Farm and Fourways in Kiambu county will witness a power outage between 9 in the morning and 5 in the evening on Thursday.
The entire town of Isiolo in Isiolo county will be without electricity services between 9 am and 5 pm.
In Embu county, the areas of Gatondo and Muchonoke will be without electricity between 9 in the morning and 5 in the evening.
In addition, parts of Kapenguria and Seven Mile areas in Trans Nzoia and West Pokot counties will be affected between 9 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.
