Police in Elgeyo Marakwet are investigating a case where a woman hacked three people to death, including her three-month-old baby.
According to witnesses, the woman woke up on Sunday night, picked up a machete, and attacked three people in the Elgeyo Marakwet area of Katilit.
Two more people were injured during the night attack and were taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, where they have been admitted for treatment.
The cause of the murder has not yet been determined, but the police have launched an investigation into the matter.
This is happening a few months after a woman in Kitengela chopped up and ate her child, after she fell out with the father of her child.
