Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii has stepped up his fight against critics whom he accuses of trying to criticize him for failing to run the county.
Bii said some of his opponents in the last election still do not believe that he defeated them and they still continue to attack him.
“Those I defeated now should continue and accept that I am the governor until we return to the elections. Wait for 2027”, said Bii
He who spoke during a development visit to the Mois Bridge area said he is currently busy focusing on delivering his Ten Pillars (ten points) development agenda and that he will not be distracted by critics.
He dismissed as the work of satanic people the spread of fake reports on governorship rankings recently which accused him of being ranked 47th among all governors.
“Now if they say that I am number 47, that is not the truth and it is the work of the devil who should fail completely”.
He said that according to the report from the office of the controller of the budget, Uasin Gishu is the 15th place in the use of development resources and the 3rd place in the amount of resources allocated for development.
Bii noted his performance was not a secret because the work he did is evident in all areas of the county.
“Those who are still in doubt should be sure that Koti Moja is the governor of Uasin Gishu and my administration will serve everyone including those I defeated” he said.

He said the same saboteurs tried to create trouble between him and other elected leaders in the county.
“I work well with all the leaders of this county and those who think they will get money from spreading propaganda should know that we do not have such money,”
The governor said his team is committed to transforming the county through wise management of resources to reduce poverty and improve the lives of residents.
