Famous couple Kelvin ‘Bahati’ Kioko and Diana Marua have continued to express their great love for their adopted son, Morgan Bahati.
With the famous couple about to celebrate seven years of their marriage, they have explained the 13-year-old boy is one of the biggest blessings that happened in their lives.
“As we approach our 7th wedding anniversary this October, Morgan Bahati is one of our greatest blessings,” Bahati wrote on Sunday via Instagram.
He attached the message to a photo of his library, his wife Diana Marua and his son taken several years ago.
The 30-year-old musician adopted Morgan as his son in 2014 when he went to perform at the ABC orphanage where he also grew up after his mother passed away.
After Bahati performed, the boy refused to return to the children’s center and wanted to go with him.
Recently speaking in an interview with Chipukeezy, Bahati described the 13-year-old boy as a special child.
He revealed that he favors Morgan so much that he pays his school fees before he even pays for his other children.
“Before I pay my other children’s fees, I always pay for Morgan first” Bahati said.
He added, “I live with him. You know many people online have started following us after Diana. This is a child I have had even before I got married. In fact, many women rejected me because of this child because no one wanted to stay with a child not theirs.”
The former gospel singer also used the opportunity to plead with kenyans and bloggers to be humane when writing stories involving his son.
He revealed that Morgan has a very sad story and therefore asked Kenyans to avoid attacking him when they attack his family.
“I have no problem with anyone attacking my family, my children. But don’t attack my first child, Morgan. I took this boy during a very difficult season of my life.
He has a very difficult story that I don’t like to repeat. I took him from children’s home I was in Mathare. Before he was even brought to the Children’s Home, he has a very sad story. Therefore, even if you guys are writing to get likes and views, let’s have mercy. This is a special child” he said.
