Comedian and content creator Tom Daktari has mentioned the main challenges he experiences in the content creation industry.
In an interview with bloggers after winning the Pulse Influencer award on TikTok this year, Tom said there are people who own his work, while others use fake accounts to gain followers and solicit money from fans.
Tom claimed that there are parties who copyright his work, something that leads to the denial of ownership of his work.
”I think someone has the copyright of my voice. It’s a very sad thing. When I make a voice, it has a copyright and I am told that someone who is not in my country has the copyright of your voice, so you cannot use it.” He said.
In addition, he said that social media users, especially TikTok users, are using fake accounts to become famous.
He advised people to be careful to monitor such fake accounts and it’s better for a person to investigate in detail to make sure that the account is real.
“If you are being tricked by a fake account, log in and see, make sure it’s really me, if it’s not me, block the account, don’t just see the name Tom Daktari and respond to everything” Tom explained.
In the conversation, he gave advice to young people and encouraged them to put effort into everything they do, because nothing comes from a dream but from effort.
He gave a guarantee to deal with those hypocrites, and denounced people who have the habit of wishing bad things to their colleagues, wanting to benefit from things they did not contribute to or put effort into.
It was in that interview, when he told his story while at the university, how his mobile phone was returned after he made threats.
