Kenyan comedian David Oyando alias Kendrick Mulamwah has revealed he is not currently working as a nurse.
While engaging his fans in a question and answer session on Instagram, the comedian who studied nursing at university however made it clear he still reads a lot to ensure he is aware of trends in the nursing field.
Mulamwah was answering a question about whether he is still working as a nurse alongside his art work.
“Not at the moment, I can’t manage. But I read every day to be updated with the current changes in health care management and technology,” Mulamwah said on Monday. 16th october.
The 30-year-old comedian went on to hint that he will continue his nursing career in the near future after finishing completing his art career.
While responding to a fan who advised him to move to the United States and work there as a nurse, he said that he did not study for the job to let it go to waste.
“When I’m done with these online things, I’m at the bedside. I can’t study everything, to let it go,” he said.
The comedian has recently been trending after hinting he and his ‘bestie’ Ruth K, who is allegedly his girlfriend, are expecting their first child together.
Last week, the two announced Ruth was experiencing symptoms usually associated with pregnancy, leaving fans to speculate she was pregnant.
”Bestie anatapika tapika ma asubuhi asubui ivi. Shida inaweza kua nini?” Mulamwah wrote on Instagram last week.
Although they did not confirm if they were actually talking about pregnancy, many believed that the two were hinting at expecting a child together.
