Burna Boy ready to pay journalists and bloggers to stop writing about him.

Grammy award-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed that he is ready to pay Nigerian blogs for one purpose – to stop posting and writing about him.

The star who called himself “African Giant” said he was aware that he had not posted any blog in Nigeria before.

He called on bloggers in Nigeria to negotiate a price and pass it to him to stop publishing his news “absolutely.”

The musician, known for making headlines, suggested that media organizations call a meeting to discuss a special financial arrangement. He expressed his intention to compensate them for their cooperation.

On his X account, formerly known as Twitter on Friday, Burna Boy wrote, “How far. all these instablog, PulseNg e.t.c abeg make all of una do meeting then decide how much I go give all of una make una forget my name totally. I know say I never pay any of una before so I say make I just run am finally. I greet you bros!!”

His post sparked mixed reactions, with some fans warning him that he will be “forgotten” if bloggers stop covering him.

Burna Boy and Nigerian bloggers have a bad relationship following his warning to bloggers against posting his music for free on their sites.

The ‘Last Last’ singer had slammed Nigerian bloggers for leaking his music.

The information that seems to have offended the artist comes just a few days after he appeared in a freestyle practice and revealed one of his verses that he once refused a 5 million dollar show in Dubai after finding out that he was not allowed to smoke his cigarette while on stage.
