Rapper Kennedy Ombima known as King Kaka has sent a message of urgent relief to fellow artist Alpha Mwana Mtule who is currently hospitalized.
In a post on Friday morning, King Kaka shared a video of a song he did with the ailing gospel singer last year and urged him to continue fighting for his health.
“Stand strong, brother. God is with you @mwanamtule. Prayers your way,” King Kaka wrote under the video he posted on Instagram.
The rapper also denied claims that Mwana Mtule is only looking for relevance about his illness, noting the singer is hospitalized.
He gave this explanation after a fan claimed Mwana Mtule is not sick, instead he is using claims of illness to gain more fame.
“I knew it was all a joke.. The boy must trend at this hour,” @officialcastrocreatives commented under the video posted by King Kaka.
King Kaka replied, “What do you mean? The man is in hospital, this project is a year old.”
This comes just a few days after reports surfaced online that the gospel singer is reported to be critically ill.
A video went viral on social media showing Mwana Mtule lying on a couch while his fellow singer B Classic explained his bad condition.
“My fellow Kenyans and musicians, Alpha is in a bad condition and right now he can’t even talk, he’s defiling himself like that, we’re asking for medical help, he can’t talk and can’t even walk,” B Classic said in the video.
B Classic added that they were taking him to the hospital and it was not a joke but a serious issue.
Recently, Mwana Mtule denied rumors he tried to kill himself saying he was poisoned.
“I am not dead; I thank God for saving my life. I was poisoned by someone in Rongai. I will speak soon and explain what happened because now I still do not feel well… I am still alive and the police are investigating the suspects,” Alpha said.
“Man, I am very hurt when I read comments people say…it is clout chasing please stop, Ju ata sai my condition is not as good as you think, I was poisoned I did not try to take my life” Mtule said.
“I have lived with our God on the streets for nine years, eating from garbage. I grew up as a chokoraa, why should I try to kill myself at a time like this, God is planning for me,”
“The talent our God has given me is great to overcome clout chasing, I know the enemy is looking to kill me, just keep going OUR GOD never forgets this Boy😞” said Mtule Mtule.
