Abel Mutua and Judy Nyawira celebrate 15 years of marriage.

Actor and Script writer Abel Mutua and his wife Judy Nyawira, popularly known as the Directors family, are celebrating 15 years of marriage.

The couple appeared on social media expressing their gratitude to God for treating them well and supporting them throughout the years.

“15 years later, God has been good to us,” read the caption of the photo they shared online.

The post of the anniversary has attracted Mutua with positive reactions, with fans and friends wishing them the best on their special day. They also congratulated them for turning 15 while others continued to pray for blessings in their marriage.

Abel and Judy are among the most loved couples in the entertainment industry and the country in general.

The two met while studying at KIMC. Judy was in her first year of studies, while Abel was finishing his year.

At that time he was already a celebrity because he was participating in the popular drama series Tahidi High.

In an interview this year, Judy touched the hearts of many Kenyans when she admitted she does always obey her husband. This may be one of the reasons why the couple’s marriage has stood the test of time.

“There are times when I have earned more money than him, there are times when he makes more, Submission is to understand that. We have never fought about money. There is no ‘my money’ in our marriage. If I am in a position to do something I do it because I want to. Understanding that there are different seasons in marriage and that whatever happens he is the head is important.”

“Even in the Bible we are helpers. If you are a good helper as a woman, the head will stay there and he will succeed in life,” Judy said

Earlier, Abel also praised his wife, recognizing her as the source of his success.

“Judy is the fuel that pushes me to greatness. And it’s not something that she started now, she’s been that person since 2008 when we met. Every situation we’ve had has been a reason for me to grind more. Thanks to her. I keep telling her that if it wasn’t for her, I’d be nothing,” he said.

The couple has a daughter who sat for her KCPE exams recently.
