Director Trevor, Mungai Eve’s lover has spoken about his plans to officially marry the content creator.
In a telephone interview with a local radio station, the video director whose real name is Bonventure Monyancha revealed he has already introduced Eve to his family.
”Shemeji ashafika nyumbani. Kila kitu pale ishafanywa” Director Trevor said.
However, he admitted He has not yet paid dowry to the family of the 23-year-old.
While explaining why he has not yet taken the step, Trevor said he is still looking for enough money before taking the step of negotiating with Eve’s family.
“Bado, bado natafuta hela, unajua yule hela zake ni kama mamilioni hivi,” he said.
The director revealed he plans to part with about 10m to 15m Kenyan shillings as her dowry.
“Unajua yule kila mwaka mahari inapanda. Nitalipa kama milioni 10-15. Ikifika miaka miwili kutoka sasa itakuwa imefika kama 15,” he said.
He also made it clear that he has already decided to settle down with the 23-year-old Youtuber explaining he is the only one his heart wants.
Regarding marriage plans, he said they will make their union official after he pays all the dowry.
“Harusi ni baada ya kulipa mahari” he said.
Director Trevor and Mungai Eve celebrated five years together earlier this year.
As she celebrated the milestone in January, Eve penned a sweet note to her boyfriend expressing her gratitude for their love, from their humble beginnings to their current status as living together as lovers.
“Thank you for being a blessing in my life and giving me the friendship I have needed all my life,” Eve wrote.
Eve also celebrated Trevor for pushing her into her current career, where they are now earning handsomely as content creators.
“We have had our ups and downs but we have stood the test of time, I pray for love that lasts a lifetime and friendship that never ends. I always thank God for bringing you into my life, you are my best blessing and success, thank you for always supporting me, believing in me, and pushing me hard to be the best version of me. I love you today and forever,” she wrote.
