A businesswoman surrounded by many controversies, Mrs. Anne Njeri Njoroge has confirmed that it’s true her mother does not know her real wealth.
Ms Pauline Wanjiru Njoroge, last week, expressed her shock after her daughter was linked to oil worth Ksh17 billion that was blocked in the port of Mombasa, noting that for more than a month she never knew her daughter was that rich.
Speaking in an interview with Citizen TV in a hidden area, Anne Njeri confirmed her mother’s claims but insisted she knows she is a business woman.
“Mama hajui pesa yangu ni kiasi gani, anajua mimi ni mfanyibiashara, anajua hilo.” She said.
The 55-year-old businesswoman noted that not everything should be revealed.
In a recent interview with the Nation, Mrs Pauline Wanjiru revealed her daughter has not visited her for the past six years, revealing that her last conversation with the 55-year-old Njeri was on the phone about four months ago.
She spoke from her home in Kianjege village, Kiambu County.
“Ningependa kukutana na binti yangu ambaye unaniuliza,” She said.
The widow revealed that her daughter dropped out of school in form one and noted she does not know the actual work she is doing these days.
However, she made it clear Njeri has been helping her financially from time to time when she is in need.
