The National Pension Fund NSSF has announced job vacancies in various sectors.
In the notice, there are 336 positions that the fund wants people to apply for.
“The National Social Security Fund has service delivery points spread across the country and is seeking to enhance the capacity of its human resource to achieve its obligations of service delivery to all Kenyans,” said the notice.
Some of the positions include regional manager (6), assistant manager (19), branch manager (15), senior executive officer (28), accountant (24), security officer (2), records manager (2) ), senior officer (78). ) chief supervisor of instructors (46) among other positions.
Interested persons are advised to submit their resumes to the office before 11 December 2023.
Data from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics Quarterly Labor Force Report for October-December 2022 which was released in February shows unemployment in Kenya decreased to 960,001 which is (4.9 percent) in the period of December 2022 from 1,055,816 which is (5.6 percent) in the same quarter of 2021.
The government has said it will provide job opportunities for the youth.
Last week, the Minister of Public Service and Delivery Management Moses Kuria said his ministry will soon launch the ‘Jobo Bila Connection initiative’ website.
The minister said the website will help Kenyans apply for jobs in the public sector regardless of their background.
“In the public sector, we will lead from the front. We will soon develop a website for all Kenyans to apply for jobs in the public sector regardless of their background named Jobo Bila Connection initiative,” he said.
“The issue of youth unemployment should be a concern for all of us because we are not safe until we are all safe,” he said.
