At least four workers were killed when a building under construction collapsed in Eastleigh Nairobi.
The incident happened along Muratina Road on Saturday afternoon while workers were busy at the scene, police and witnesses said.
Nairobi police chief Adamson Bungei said four workers were killed on the spot.
He added that six others were injured and rushed to the hospital.
“We have confirmed the deaths of four people and there are six injured so far. We are investigating the tragedy,” he said.
He added that they did not expect to find more people in the rubble since the workers on duty have been counted.
However, the rescue and search operation continued.
This is the latest incident to happen in the city.
