Kenyans to access National parks, museums for free on Jamhuri day.

The government has announced Kenyans will be allowed to access all national parks and museums for free on December 12 as Kenya celebrates 60 years of independence.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Tourism and Wildlife, Dr Alfred Mutua on Friday.

The government has called on citizens to use the opportunity to explore and visit various national heritage sites to determine the beauty of their country.

“This opportunity will also give you the chance to visit marine parks, safaris, and animal orphanages. The offer is for Kenyan citizens with proof of identity and children accompanied by parents or guardians or family members who have proof of identity. ,” he explained.

The free admission will be used from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, a period Mutua says will provide enough time for citizens to experience the natural beauty of Kenya.

However, Dr. Mutua stressed the importance of following the law during the visit.

The national parks include Aberdare National Park, Amboseli, Arabuko Sokoke, Central Island, Chyulu Hills, Hell’s Gate, Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park, Kora National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, of Malindi National Sea. Malka Mari National Park and Reserve.
