Dancehall artist from Jamaica, Garfield Delano Spence alias Konshens has announced he will sleep in Kenya on the night of Wednesday, December 13.
On Tuesday night, the 38-year-old musician posted a photo that showed him on a plane.
In the Caption of the post, he revealed he was on his way to the neighboring country of Uganda where he is scheduled to perform on Sunday, December 17. However, he revealed he will not be landing in Uganda directly but instead will be passing through Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
”I’m on my way to Uganda!! I will see you soon!! But I’ll sleep in Nairobi… what’s hot on a Wednesday night in my city?” Konshens wrote on Twitter.
Earlier this month, the popular dancehall star announced he would be passing through Kenya during his music tour in Uganda before Christmas.
While making the announcement on December 5, Konshens asked his fans to suggest good places to visit.
“FYI, there is no way I am coming to Uganda, which I love, and miss Kenya, my favourite even if it’s just for vacation vibes, suggest some nice spots” he wrote via Twitter.
It’s unclear if the 38-year-old singer has an event planned in Kenya or is here on vacation. There are still five days left before his Ugandan show.
It is not the first time for Konshens to visit Kenya. Most of his previous tours however have been musical journeys where he has given thrilling performances.
The Dancehall and Reggae singer’s great love for Kenya is also evident and he has confirmed it with his several tours. Konshens is a frequent visitor to Kenya and his last visit was in December 2021.
