Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau alias Kate Actress recently clashed with some of her fans on Facebook after posting photos of her with her ex-husband, Philip Karanja aka Phil Director.
The two actors who announced the end of their marriage about three months ago had hosted a party to celebrate their daughter’s 4th birthday on December 15 and Kate Actress later shared photos taken at the beautiful event.
In the caption of her post, the mother of two talked about the good relationship between her daughter and co-parent Phil Karanja.
“most loved little human in the entire world . A daddys girl in everyway. She really had an amazing birthday.” Kate Actress said in the photos she posted.
A good number of Facebook users who saw the post seemed to focus more on the photos that showed Phil Karanja. Some even took a step further to explain how good the two actors looked together and wanted them back together.
Zainb Nyamweno said, “Where does the devil really come from?” How good you look together, happy birthday kasupu.”
“Aki we focus on the devil at times.. a relationship is a personal choice,” Kate Actress replied.
Another fan, Zippy Kibe said, “We are asking for union again..”
Kate replied, “Ya Ruto ama Baba?”
When she was pressed to reconcile with the father of her daughter, the former actress of the show ‘Mother in Law’ made it clear there is no possibility of that happening.
”I love this… and you look so good together, mrudiane” Essie Paul wrote.
Kate boldly replied, “We can’t!”
While responding to another fan who pressured her to get back together with Phil, the mother of two also made it clear that she does not have the desire to have any man because she is the one who decides to choose the one she wants to be with in life.
“I’m not the type to give up! I get to choose who I want, when I want, not the other way around. I’m top class. Bye,” She wrote.
Kate and Phil announced their divorce in mid-September after enjoying several years of marriage.
They had exchanged their vows in November 2017 in an exclusive ceremony attended only by close friends and family.
