The body of late actor Charles Ouda aka ‘Charli’ will be cremated on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
This is according to the information provided on the WhatsApp group where burial plans are being coordinated.
The organizers of the funeral said the church service will be held at the All Saints Cathedral on Thursday around 10 in the morning and the body of the deceased will be cremated in the Kariokor cemetery.
Cremation is reserved for immediate family members only.
The late actor’s body will be removed from Chiromo mortuary on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, and taken to his family home for an overnight vigil.
The move to raise money to pay for the funeral is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 13, at 5:30 in the evening at the Higher Trinity room in All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.
The organizers of the funeral are expected to share more information about the funeral on Monday as family members and friends have been invited to the funeral arrangements at the family home in Loresho area, Nairobi.
Charli’s family has also expressed their appreciation for the support and love they have received during these difficult times.
The family of the late Ouda and his fiancee Ciru Muriuki announced his death on Sunday. He died at the age of 38.
“Dear friends and family, it is with great sadness that we share the passing on of Charles ‘Charlie’ J. Ouda on the night of February 3, 2024,” the statement said.
The family asked everyone respect their and their ex-fiancé’s privacy as they go through this difficult time.
