The founder of Neno Evangelism Centre, James Ng’ang’a has exposed fraudsters who are robbing Kenyans who have not been dealt with, and advised people to stay alert to avoid falling into the trap.
Speaking to his congregation, the evangelist narrated how the fraudsters drained money from his SIM cards registered under different churches to collect offerings.
According to him, in the first case, an unknown person visited Nakuru area customer service center where they exchanged the first sim card registered under James Ng’ang’a and withdrew more than Ksh200,000.
”I was called by the church in Jerusalem and they informed me that the phone was not working, so I volunteered to visit the service provider’s office and resolve the issue, however, the one registered to this church stopped working as well,” he said.
When he sought help from customer service, the pastor was informed that someone had changed the numbers of two registered lines, for two days in one shop in Nakuru.
Pastor Ng’ang’a further criticized the minister, noting the failure to verify National IDs in such cases is the main source of fraud.
Nga’nga encouraged members of his church to remain strong even during trials and tribulations, because God always helps.
“Seasons come and go. Do your work in all seasons, and leave the rest to God,” he said in one of his daily sermons.
