A staunch supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga, Nuru Okanga is once again in the headlines.
This is after he happily revealed to his followers on Facebook after attending form one biology classes for one month.
Okanga happily explained he was happy to understand the meaning of the lesson he has been hearing from the lips of his colleagues who preceded him to enter form one, several years after he was unable to continue his studies following the death of his father – as he previously explained in an interview with media houses.
Okanga said that biology is not difficult because he discovered that ‘bio’ is a study about life and ‘ology’ is a study in itself.
”SIMPLE DEFINITION OF BIOLOGYBio means life and -ology means “study of” so biology literally means the study of life. Biology is the study of all living organisms (and dead organisms, like fossils). Biology looks at how these organisms form, develop and interact with each other and their environment.,” Okanga explained happily.
He went on to answer a follower who questioned why he shared the explanation, saying he was at school to learn, not to stare at the teachers.
“Nilienda kusoma sio kuangalia walimu tu’ Okanga replied.
Okanga was in the headlines at the end of last year after he was among the oldest candidates to sit for the eighth grade KCPE exams.
However, after the results came out, Okanga was secretive about revealing the marks he got, and even in interviews, the young man is determined to compete as an MCA in the 2027 general election.
