A possible break-up on the marriage of two prominent Ugandan businessmen, Shakib Cham Lutaaya and socialite Zari Hassan.
The couple officially tied the knot in October last year and have been seen enjoying the good times in their marriage over the past few months until Thursday, February 22, when Shakib hinted at some problems in their much-talked-about union.
Problems may have started after a video showing Zari Hassan walking while holding hands with her ex-boyfriend and Baby Daddy Diamond Platnumz was shared on social media. The WCB boss was the first to post the video on his Instagram page where he introduced the mother of his two children as his sister.
“Sister and I @zarithebosslady,” Diamond wrote under the video.
The video that was shared on Thursday evening generated mixed reactions from different fans who wanted to understand what was going on.
Zari replied, “Oh, I’m dead.”
The socialite’s husband, Shakib Cham also responded in his own indirect way where he hinted he is not happy with the latest move
The 31-year-old also deleted many photos showing him with Zari on his Instagram page including the latest one he shared on Valentine’s Day.
On Thursday, February 22, 2024, Shakib raised eyebrows – sharing a series of cryptic messages on his socials.
Many believe that the messages might be aimed at his wife Zari Hassan as reports of their marriage being on the rocks emerge.
“May people with pure intentions find people with pure intentions” Shakib Cham posted after deleting all photos with his bae, Zari Hassan.
“Social media makes you admire people you should be praying for,”
Zari the Boss Lady also has zero photos of her husband on her platform.
Zari and Shakib formalized their marriage in a private wedding held in South Africa in early October last year. The two were dating for more than a year.
The details of the wedding were very hidden but we managed to get some photos and videos of the ceremony.
The photos showed Zari wearing a long white wedding gown while her husband Shakib was wearing a gray suit and white shirt.
Family members including Zari’s children; ; Pinto Tale, George Ssemwanga, Dido Ssemwanga Tiffah Dangote and Prince Nillan were present at the event. Tiffah wore a white dress while Nillan wore a gray suit and white shirt as the bride and groom.
The sons of Zari and her ex-husband, Ivan Ssemwanga were seen wearing white suits, white shirts and white shoes.
Most of the guests who were invited to attend the private event were seen wearing white dresses. Men wore gray suits while women wore golden gowns.
The two legalized their long-term union for the first time in a religious Islamic wedding (Nikah) early last year.
