The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued a notice regarding the temporary closure of a section of Lang’ata Road. The closure will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, and Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm.
According to KeNHA, the affected stretch will be between the T-Mall roundabout and the Madaraka Roundabout. This closure is necessary for planned road maintenance works along the section.
Motorists are urged to utilize alternative routes during this period and to cooperate with the police and traffic marshals on site.
Specifically, motorists coming from Raila Odinga Way, Mai Mahiu Road, and Lang’ata Road heading towards Madaraka Roundabout are advised to use Ole Sangale Link or turn at T-Mall Roundabout. They can then proceed to the U-turn just after Wilson Airport exit and take the Flyover towards Madaraka, as per KeNHA’s guidance.
