Tanzanian Bongo stars Zuchu and Diamond Platinumz’s on-again, off-again relationship has had more ups and downs than a roller coaster, but the messy exes always gravitated back together.
However, in recent news, Zuchu has announced another break-up despite the lovebirds reconciling and rekindling their romance barely weeks ago when Diamond pulled the stance and declared he was on the market.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram, the ‘Chapati’ hit singer noted that despite -breaking up just to make up being their routine, she hopes this will be final.
She cited disrespect as the cause of their breakup and attached a video pointing to a popular saying; ‘familiarity breeds contempt.’
Zuchu however noted that Diamond continues to be her business partner.
“Hello family, I had to post this to clear my conscience. Kuanzia leo hii mimi na nasibu (Diamond) hatuko pamoja. I know this has been our thing but as hard as it is kumuacha mtu unaempenda hii naomba mungu iwe ya mwisho na nianze maisha mapya. Mapenzi ni heshima kwa bahati mbaya sana hiko kimekosekana kwetu . .as for him bado tuna kazi za pamoja i wish him and his family the absolute best. Tumeishi vizuri lakini nadhani hii sio rizki. Mwaka huu nimejifunza kusema hapana kwa kila kitu kisichonipa furaha ama baada ya kusema haya naona kabisa naenda kuanza ukurasa mpya wenye maisha yaliyojaa furaha, uhuru na amani. As for now kazi iendelee and I am single🍻Yours truly Zuchu❤️,” she wrote.
Zuchu’s breakup announcement comes after Diamond’s video of Zari and him holding hands as they walked together like a couple on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
The Wasafi boss referred to his Ugandan baby mama as his sister in the caption.
“Sister and I 🌻@zarithebosslady,” Diamond wrote on the video.
