Peetah Morgan’s Memorial Service Announced

Peter ‘Peetah’ Anthony Morgan, the celebrated lead singer of Morgan Heritage, is remembered worldwide for his groundbreaking contributions to reggae music. After his recent passing on February 25, 2024, the reggae community mourns the loss of a true luminary.

In commemoration of Peetah’s life, a memorial service is scheduled to take place in Orlando, Florida, on March 7th, followed by a celebration of his enduring legacy in Kingston, Jamaica, in early April.

Survived by his devoted wife Maria Gunabe-Morgan, along with 11 children and 2 grandchildren, Peetah’s impact on the world of music is profound and everlasting.

As the band expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from fans, they assured that Peetah’s legacy would endure and be passed down through generations.
