Kenyan music sensation Nadia Mukami recently shared her heartfelt story about how her deep love for her fiancé, Ali Yusuf, also known as Arrow Bwoy, led her to end a previous relationship. In a live interview with Oga Obinna, the artist behind the hit “Radio Love” disclosed how her romantic journey with Arrow began, revealing that she had developed a crush on him even before he expressed his feelings.
Both Nadia and Arrow Bwoy were involved in other relationships when they officially started dating. She described her initial attraction to him, saying, “I admired him as an artist because he had a calm demeanor, contrasting with my lively and bubbly personality. The first time I saw him, I thought he was interesting, but I was in another relationship.”
Their romance began when Arrow reached out to Nadia via text, leading to a meeting in South B. They discussed their mutual feelings despite being in other relationships at the time. “He asked if I was ready to take this step, and I said I was,” she recalled.
Nadia revealed that the turning point came when her then-boyfriend discovered her relationship with Arrow through social media. Fearing a dramatic confrontation, she blocked him after he reached out to her about it. “Fortunately, he wasn’t very active on social media, which spared me some drama,” she noted.
When asked about her decision to end things with her ex quickly, Nadia explained that she felt the spark had faded. She described her previous partner as overly serious, while Arrow’s lightheartedness made their relationship more enjoyable. She mentioned that they often engaged in long phone conversations, which enhanced their connection.
Nadia and Arrow first crossed paths in a club while supporting another artist, Sammy Flinch. Despite Arrow’s reluctance to acknowledge this initial meeting, Nadia recalled the moment fondly.
Since they went public with their relationship in April 2020, the couple has welcomed a son together, marking a significant milestone in their journey together.
