Eric Omondi fundraises Ksh1M for 3-month-old baby with Hirshsprung’s disease

Kenyan comedian and activist Eric Omondi recently raised Ksh1 million to support three-month-old Ayantew Wachari, who suffers from Hirschsprung’s disease.

In an Instagram post, Omondi expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed, emphasizing that they were changing lives.

The funds will cover the necessary surgery for Ayantew and help his mother start a business. Ayantew’s condition prevents him from going to the toilet naturally, necessitating corrective surgery.

Omondi previously rallied his followers to raise Ksh350,000 for the surgery. Additionally, Omondi recently assisted a physically challenged girl by providing a wheelchair, covering school fees, and supporting her family..

The girl’s mother, Roseline, takes care of her, while her father faces mental health challenges.
